Architectural photography is the photographing of buildings and similar structures that are both aesthetically pleasing and accurate representations of their subjects. Charleston architectural photographers are usually skilled in the use of specialized techniques and equipment. Yes, those two first sentences were lifted from wikipedia and tweaked for search engines. We shoot architecture for a wide array of clients and uses.  Interior Designers, Architects, Construction Firms, Commercial Real Estate, Residential Real Estate, Real Estate Investors, City Governments, Restaurants, and for personal pleasure, too. Most of what I have learned came from my business partner Jason Kaumeyer whom I consider  to be one the best Chicago photographers.  We photograph properties with the intent to edit.  Often our best tricks are timing the sun’s position, waiting for a blue sky, moving a couch, shooting at 2a, etcetera.  Architectural photography is possibly the most challenging thing we do, but the most rewarding when everything lines up!
